Cartier Paris "Les Délices de Goa" Boule Ring

$28,500
Dating from circa 2003, this Cartier Paris "Les Délices de Goa" boule ring is composed of amethyst, coral and diamonds. The high-domed boule ring is set with variously sized orange coral and amethyst beads, some studded with round brilliant-cut diamonds. Jeanne Toussaint was an early proponent of Indian design at Cartier. When Louis Cartier appointed her artistic director in 1933, her creativity and design genius ushered in the era of "Le Gout Toussaint." Emerald, lapis, and turquoise beads studded with diamonds have been a signature of the Toussaint-Cartier style ever since.
