Tiffany Studios New York "Greek Key" Table Lamp

An alluring and visually rewarding example of Tiffany Studios New York's great "Greek Key" table lamp. Mottled glass in hues of warm amber and bright sunshine yellow soften the wonderful, stark geometry that dominates the shade's composition, while gentle striations of of white-ish green break up the kelly green of the Greek key patterning that decorates the bottom of the shade. Substantial in size, a gentle undulation in the top of the shade prompts the dappled light in orangish hues to dance upwards, while a downward turn in the bottom of the shades casts a resolute band of bright green light outward.

Just as the shade is dominated by stark geometry, the base of this multifaceted lamp is characterized by playful organic motifs. Delicately curving, twirling vines climb down the upright portion of the stand, as luscious bulb-like undulations decorate the very base of it.
