Antique 1860s Amethyst Fringe Earrings

$8,500
Created circa the 1860s, these antique 18K gold Italian fringe pendant earrings are set with amethysts. The flexible pendant earrings in the archaeological style are designed as circular tops suspending rectangular and triangular shaped plaques suspending a graduating baton fringe, highlighted throughout with circular and oval-cut amethysts in crimped collet settings and bead and wirework accents. Designed loosely in the archaeological revival style, these light and comfortable earrings beguile the eye with their rich purple-gold palette and airy movement.
