Lacloche Frères Diamond and Sapphire Flower Brooch

$35,000

Created by the Parisian firm Lacloche Frères, this flower clip brooch set in gold with blue sapphires and over eleven carats of diamonds dates from the 1950s. The leaves and curling petals, along with the curved stem, are pavé-set with round brilliant-cut diamonds, accented by circular-cut sapphires. Large and beautifully modeled as a stylized rose-bud in the process of opening, this sparkling brooch clips onto a jacket or gown for a dash of 1950s French glamour.
